I'm Simon Hukaya. I have been designing eyewear for more than a decade. Optifold is the first in a series of unique eyewear projects that I'm passionate about creating and that aim to push the boundaries of conventonal eyewear design, introducing innovative, yet highly wearable pieces to rejuvenate the market.
Eyewear made by folding a piece of sheet metal. Thanks to special Japanese stainless steel and folding technology, we can wear these special glasses into our lives. Pollux style is perfectly unisex. Playfully minimalist.

I’m a Japanese designer living in Europe. My career started at Vinylize eyewear almost a decade ago. I designed glasses worn by many celebrities, including Elton John, Robbie Williams, Richard Branson and Fred Durst. In addition to working on my own brand, I work as a designer for an IT company developing smart glasses.
